Voice Guide Is Not Saving Configuration

Recommended Posts

Hi,

We are using voice guide 6.0.3386. I have upgraded it from previous version.

I am having following issues:

1: Whenever application restarts it don't remember any of my script which I have selected against 4 lines. It loads the default parameter and scripts again. How to make VG remember my preferences of script agaist each line and other configuration like pick phone after 2 rings.

2: When I am trying to open Event Trace Log it just show one error. That error is enclosed here with. Change VG.ini file.

Thanks in advance for help.

Regards

In v6 the trace level setting are set in the VG.INI file (as sated on the displayed message box in the attached screenshot).

VG.INI looks OK. After restarting VoiceGuide did you look in VoiceGuide's \log\ subdirectory?

Yes, log files are getting created properly.

But when I click on Event Trace Log it shows the error as shown before.

I have included the pic for your reference.

Event trace log use to help me to see the information which are happening live on a particular call instead of me trying to see all the call details.

Let me know how to resolve it.

The message you are seeing when you select that menu is not en error, it's an information message that tells you that in that version of VoiceGuide the trace will not be displayed by VoiceGuide but can be saved to file instead, and tells you how to enable saving to file.

Are the trace files being created in the \log\ subdirectory now?

You can use attached application to view the trace/log files in realtime. Just open the file you want to view in it.
