Could you please .ZIP the VoiceGuide traces from VoiceGuide's \log\ subdirectory and post them here.

We can then see what is reported by VoiceGuide and HMP at the same time and advise.

Just the ktTel trace for the day during which the WireShark trace was captrued would be enough.

Looks like the version of Dialogic HMP drivers that is installed on this system is not the one that should be used with the version of VoiceGuide used.

Please download the HMP drivers from the VoiceGuide Downloads page: http://www.voiceguide.com/ivr-software/free-ivr-download.htm and follow the stops below:

  1. Set VoiceGuide service to start 'Manually' (not 'Automatically'). This is done in the Windows' Services applet.
  2. Fully uninstall the current HMP drivers (do not save any configurations etc.).
  3. After uninstall then reboot the system.
  4. After the system restart install the version of drivers downloaded from VoiceGuide Downloads page.
  5. Reboot the system again.
  6. Apply the HMP licenses and start the HMP service
  7. Start the VoiceGuide service.

If you still encounter issues with incoming calls after changing the Dialogic HMP drivers then please do this:

1. Stop the VoiceGuide service.
2. Stop the Dialogic service.

Please place the attached RtfConfigWin.xml file on your system - unzip the attached .ZIP file first. (file link at very bottom of this post)

for Windows 7 and Server 2008 R2 and later versions of Windows :
3a. make the hidden directory C:\ProgramData visible
3b. go to C:\ProgramData\Dialogic\HMP\cfg

for Windows XP, server 2003 and Server 2008 32bit :
3a. go to C:\Program Files\Dialogic\cfg

Then:

4. Backup existing RtfConfigWin.xml,
5. Replace it with attached RtfConfigWin.xml (unzip it first)
6. Shutdown and restart Windows.

7 Start WireShark to capture the SIP packets of the incoming call. (see: www.wireshark.org)

8. Start the Dialogic service.
9. Once Dialogic service has fully started then start the VoiceGuide service.

10. After VoiceGuide service has fully started place a call into system.

11. .ZIP up Dialogic logs and VoiceGuide ktTel log and the WireShark .pcap log file that captures the SIP packets.

12. Please post all the above logs here.

The Dialogic logs would be in directory:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Dialogic\log

Please .ZIP up all the files in that directory (after restarting the services and making the test call) and post the Dialogic log files as well.

Do you have any control over the options/settings which this PBX (Mitel OpenCom 150rack) uses when initiating new calls?

The INVITE sent from the Mitel sets a "sendonly" Media Attribute.

"sendonly" means that only one-way communication is to be used on this connection.

This is unusual and could be what is causing problems here.

For now could you also disable G.729 codec on PBX side (and the various options associated with it) ?

Have you been able to test system by placing call into its IP address directly from a phone that can dial the IP address of the VoiceGuide/HMP system directly? (eg: Linphone, SJPhone, etc).
