VG creates a lot of files like : vbs_1_070521035441_SayNumberA

vbs_1_070521033754_SayNumberB

in the Temp directory. What is it and how can i stop it?

These temporary files are deleted by the cleanup task which runs every hour or so.

These temporary files are used by the Say Number and Run VBScript modules.

Zoltan: Those saynumber scripts are the bits of code that VG builds to actually "say" a number. If you don't them, don't use saynumber - or verify a number in the getdigits module, then they won't be created. However, if you are using these scripts, then you must have the files.

I'm also seeing these files, but the cleanup doesn't seem to run (I see them still there a day later, even after a VG restart). I'm on V6, is there a way for me to check on this "cleanup" engine?

Thanks,

John

The cleanup task runs every hour or so but in recent VG versions it deletes files that are only more then 24 hours old.
