Config.xml Name Networkif Tag Difference

I've noticed that the Config.xml's Channel Name Tag and Channel NetworkIf Tag in the samples are sometimes the same and sometime different.

 

- <Channel>

<Name>dxxxB1C1</Name>

<NetworkIf>dxxxB1C1</NetworkIf>

 

- <Channel>

<Name>dxxxB1C1</Name>

<NetworkIf>dtiB1T1</NetworkIf>

 

When do you use which naming format.

The first format is used with Analog cards, and the second with Digital cards.
