Recording The Phone Call

Hi, we heard the auto attendant in some companies we call say "for training purposes, your call will be recorded..." Could you tell me if VG can record the whole phone call session of all calls? If hardware is needed, please let me know what it is. Thanks.

Yes, you can record both sides of a call when a call is connected using "Dial and Conference" (ie: 'Tromboned') transfer.

 

There is a VoiceGuide COM function which you call to start the recording of both legs of the call into a .WAV file. This functionality is included in v7 of VoiceGuide.

 

No other special hardware is needed.
