Outdialer: Need Campaign Name In Results Files Or Logs

We need some way of capturing the 'Campain Name' in the results file or any of the script log files for our Outdial phone lists. Is there any way to do this?

Related to the above, we were previously able to add a customer ID to the outgoing phone number, but now the V7 dialer will not dial if we try to add anything beyond the normal 10 digit phone number. Is there a new way to add a suffix to the outgoing phone number? Our previous version 6 would allow 5613302662,002003 as an outgoing number, where we could later identify the customer ID 002003 in the script log file.

v7 saves the Campaign name in the CDR logs of outgoing calls. Is this sufficient or do you require for the Campaign name to be also available as a Result Variable?

 

You can attach your own Result Variables to outgoing calls, and these RV can specify individual call related details like customer ID and campaign etc.

 

Is there a new way to add a suffix to the outgoing phone number? Our previous version 6 would allow 5613302662,002003 as an outgoing number, where we could later identify the customer ID 002003 in the script log file.

There should be nothing stopping you from doing this in v7 as well. Please post some traces capturing the loading of the call to let us see what the problem is.

I am unable to find the campaign name in any of the cdr files or any of the response files. Can you give me an example of how to get the campaign name in the csv response file using result variables. I am not a VB programmer.

Please post the vgEngine trace capturing the outgoing call being loaded into the system, and being made and completing and CDR being written. We can then see what is happening on your system, and which version of VG is installed on the system.

Outdialer v7.0.2967.33853. The log, cdr, and response files are attached. No campaign name anywhere. I did test adding a suffix to the phone number, and it worked this time, so we can get the patient number in the response files, but we still need campaign name.

Please update your system to the latest version of VoiceGuide and post traces from that version if you still encounter this problem.

 

In the latest versions of v7 you can also save Result Variables from the call in the CDR. From http://www.voiceguide.com/vghelp/source/html/log_cdrs.htm :

The Result Variables defined during the call can be optionally saved in the lastdata field. To enable this add this entry to the [Log] section of the VG.INI file:

 

CDR_LastData_SaveRv=1

So you can specify RVs at time when loading the call and these and any other RVs created during the call will be saved in the CDR.
