Email Module Crash.

Recommended Posts

Hi.

I have couple problems with sending email module.

Log from OS:

Faulting application vgemailsender.exe, version 6.0.0.8, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 5.2.3790.4455, fault address 0x0001bf37.

Did You have similiar problem?

Another thing is this:

smtp SendFailed 550 5.1.1 User unknown

I would like to get confirmation about it - mailserver doesn`t recognize recipient or something else?

But i.e. for 3 days system work correct and another day crashes minute after minute.

Best Regards,

Grzesiek J.

Please indicate which version of VoiceGuide is used. It sounds like v6, but please confirm the actual revision number.

Could you please .ZIP up and post the email sender log files?

The SendFailed problem looks like an SMTP server related issue.

The "SendFailed 550 5.1.1 User unknown" occurs for certain 2 email addresses only. It always occurs when email is being sent to that set of email address and never when sent to other email addresses.

You are sending the emails directly to the SMTP server on which those email addresses are hosted (the STMP domain name is the same as the email addresses' domain in this case) so looks like that the SMTP server knows that one (or both) of the email addresses are invalid and looks like the SMTP server is setup to return an error in this case.

Recommend you test test each of the addresses individually to establish which one of these is rejected by SMTP server, and then have a look at the SMTP server to see why it is rejecting it. Looks like this SMTP server is on your LAN so I assume that you are able to make these check or even look at the SMTP server logs.

Do you have the date/time for the ntdll.dll realted error?
