Vg Dialer Can't Do It?

Hi!

if i'm use Call Transfer module with "Dial and Conference" option, isn't consider

use VG Dialer already?, Need to special enable the VG Dialer at Telephone Number Loader page? If yes, then how to link up it to call flow?

Please explain it in details.

Are you able to do the simple call flow to approve that

your Voice Guide VG Dialer can do the transfer call and record the timing?

EG. Simply Call Flow :

1. Start at "Welcome to Voice Guide VG Dialer Transfer Call or Dialout & Conference Call Test Module",

Press 1 to Transfer Call to External line

Press 2 to Dialout & Conference Call to External line

Press 3 to End the call

2. For Press 1, use VG Dialer Transfer Call to call any External line was speciafied.

3. For Press 2, use VG Dialer Dialout & Conference Call to call any External line was speciafied.

5. If calling(from 1 or 2) to External line was fail or busy,

goto voice mail/ sound out "Line fail/Call busy"

4. If calling(from 1 or 2) to External line was success connected, goto record the start call time.

5. After the talk in 4, When any one side end the call, goto record the end call time and calculate the

call length and store in file/database/events log/sound the call length. Then end call.

The "Dial and Conference" option in the Call Transfer module places a call

on second line and connects two lines together.

 

You need VG Dialer to use "Dial and Conference".

 

Call tracking is done by looking at $RV_CALLLENGTH after the calls have hung

Yes, it is. I'm just saying you will need to VG Dialer license on the system.

So, how to get the $RV_CALLLENGTH in the callflow 5 as below?

You should use the $RV_CALLLENGTH in the "On Hangup" script - see the "Call Finish" section of VoiceGuide Help file.

For the intel D/41JCT-LS analog card for Dial and Conference.

isn't use the same driver of the intel D4PCI?

I'm only have 1 CD of the driver was give by the card Vendor.

Not ahs user manual to install the driver, isn't is the same

procedure as intel D4PCI?

Yes, it's the same procedure. You will need to make sure that you are using SR5.1.1 - if you have a different version of the Dialogic's System Release drivers then you should download SR5.1.1 from:

D/41JCT-LS analog card was install succesfully.

But, still can't use Call Transfer module with "Dial and Conference" option.

Can't transfer call out.

Logs and the program as attached. Please help to find the problems.

Logs find in included all the option in Call Tranfer.

 

 

i was change the parameter in VG.INI

use telephone number loader to dial : use the script(in your sample script) in sequence as below:

Hi!

 

This is the log for the D4PCI card with transfer call module with

PBX blink option, seek like not error, but not call transfer out.

Isn't because the setting in the PBX command Strings?

 

What is the min and max value of the hookflash parameters?

If i'm try one by one, are you think i can match one at the end?

If the hookflash transfer does not work then either the hookflash length is wrong, or the phone line attached does not support hookflash transfers.

 

Form our previous discussions I think you should be concentrating on getting the "Dial and Conference" working with the D41JCT-LS card - it's a lot easier to set up....

We can see in the trace that there is an error when doing the Dial and Conference with the version of VoiceGuide installed.

 

Please uninstall the current version you have installed, then see the below link:

 

http://voiceguide.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=701

 

and download from there the newly released v5.1 Beta3 on the update.

 

Install v5.1 Beta 3, and then unzip the update and copy the files in the update into the VoiceGuide's directly, overwriting existing files.

 

Please then try the "Dial and Conference" again.

This error can be caused if no free line for making the 2nd call can be found.

 

Please update the 5.1Beta3 install with the attached .EXE and run the script again. This new .EXE has more logging around the critical areas of the "Dial and Conference" section which will allow to better see what is going on. Please post the trace from this new .EXE

You are right. The error cause by no free line for making the 2nd call.

But, it was have 2 line there, but seek like can't detect it properly.

 

The Card have 4 port, first 2 port have 2 line, first line(67361358), second line

(67383065). This 2 port was testing can receive the call.

On Call Transfer module Setting, at "Dial & Conference" tab,

at "Wihich lines to use make the outbound call. I'm try both,

1. special the 2nd line 67383065 for outbound call.

2. the it blank to use any line which available.

But, both failed to call out and message could not find free line to place outgoing call????

 

How to fix this?? Please guide me....

If there are two lines available can you try calling in on the 2nd line and see if the same problem occurs?

 

The debug was not actually showing the correct line range - the attached vgmulti.exe shows correct range.

 

Please leave both text boxes on the "Dial and Conference" tab blank for now.

Already try it. Ya, same error. But in difference range, if not forgot is [7-7]..

Are both lines controlled by VoiceGuide at the same time, or are you configuring VoiceGuide to only control one line at a time?

What happens when you allow VoiceGuide to control all 4 lines?

 

Plase set in VG.INI :

 

[TraceLog]

LogToFile=1

TraceLevel=10

 

and then restart VG, do the test and post the trace file created in VoiceGuide's log subdirectory. This fuller trace will cover logging at startup so that we can better see this systems configuration.

Don't know. Sure be VoiceGuide controls 1 line or 2 line as the same time? How to configuring this? Thanks....

Please use the "VoiceGuide Configuration Wizard" and select all 4 lines on the Dialogic cards, assigning to them the script that they should execute.

 

When VG is started all 4 lines should be listed... Please send screenshot of what is show when you are running VoiceGuide (when there is a call on the system).

 

Also please post log that we mentioned in our previous post.
