Not Able To Leave Voicemail

I am making phone calls and trying to leave voicemails but I am not successful in leaving these voicemails when I consult with the recipients. I have attached the logs and vgs files. There is only 1 phone call for you to see where this error happened in the logs.

Looks like the script is designed to play some Text-to-Speech upon call answer.

But the VoiceGuide license that you have does not have Text-To-Speech (TTS) enabled.

You must have Enterprise license to do TTS.

 

vgEngine trace shows:

 

203355.639 6 1 1 WARN tts not enabled in this version.

I DO have TTS since I use that feature extensively during testing before recording the sound files.

Traces show that the license on this system is Professional+Dialer. Professional license does not include TTS.

 

Maybe the TTS tests were conducted with evaluation version, before the license was applied?

I've had VG for over a year with the license installed and have tried TTS and still do and it works. Just to make sure we're on the same page, in the VG script, I have written text to be announced to the recipient, and they have heard this every time.

You are currently using TTS in your script? Can you post trace capturing successful use of TTS on your system? (please post vgEngine trace which includes system startup)

I've attached the log file. You can view the first call after system start (on 1/20/2011) made to the telephone ending in 9756. When I answered the phone, I could hear the TTS message even though in the log it says that the feature is not enabled.

 

As for my original problem with the voicemail, I believe it had something to do with the line I had VG connected to.

 

I am still curious as to the TTS feature because, like I mentioned, I've been able to use it.

Trace does not show any TTS being played. Only WAV files are being played.

 

You will need to have the enterprise license to use TTS.
