I opened the voicemail manager v6.0.1 I saw that the settings do not saved. They can not be saved.

Vg is replacing my VmEmailForwardBody.txt file

What is the problem with this version?

I want stay up to date.

Please place attached .exe in VG's directory (overwrite existing file).

This version of Voicemail manager fixes the problem which you have encountered.

Hello Support,

It is now posible to save the data but I tried to put the send retries to cover a month failed Internet connection but is is not working.

Question:

What is the maximum send retries you can configure?

The reason why I asked is because I tried to find a solution for a month of Internet or network failure.

I covered a month with send retries every 1 min but now I see that 1 min is not working. Because you wrote: 30,000. My conclusion was that I should do something with the minutes. When I tried 5 min it starts working. My "mistake" was 1 min.

Ok It is clear now.

Thanks and regards.

Hello Support,

Today I changed the body of the forward Message Template.

I noticed that the text which Vg was sending is still the old text.

After you send the VgVmMgr.exe it was saving the settings but when I changed the text today, I saw that it is not saving the content of the VmEmailForwardBody.txt file.

I deleted the file and then I put it back and I noticed that it is not putting the content in the Voicemail Manager. The old version v5.2.1005 is working but the new one have other problems.

The global Email body text template is stored in:

\system\vm\EmailForwardTemplate_body.txt

and you can set the Email body text template on a per mailbox basis by creating files

\system\vm\EmailForwardTemplate_XXXX_body.txt

where XXXX is replaced by the voicemil box number.

If you are still having problems with getting the right email body used please run a test call when using the attached .exe - it has more tracing added into it which will indicate where the Email body text template is loaded from.

Hello Support,

It is working.

>>- it has more tracing added into it which will indicate where the Email body text template is laded from.

question1)

Where can I get this information?

question2)

How can I configure a Subject on a per mailbox?. Is this posible?

-For mailbox 0001 I am using a report service. The reports are send in an email to persons with a subject (report)

-The other boxes I want to use for user who have a mailbox. For these users I want an other subject.

Is this posible and how can I do this?

With the subject I mean:

When a person get an email, he/she can see the subject in Microsoft Outlook.

From Subject Received

-------------------------------------------------------------------

abcde fghij klmnop

If I configure the Voicemail Manager's subject. Every box have that subject.

I hope you can help me.

Thanks

It is working.
Great!

The trace will just re-confirm the full path where the EmailForwardTemplate_body.txt is loaded from.

you should be able to set the Email's Subject text template on a per mailbox basis by creating files

\system\vm\EmailForwardTemplate_XXXX_subject.txt

where XXXX is replaced by the voicemail box number.
