iTime Report post Posted 08/27/2013 06:38 PM Hello, I am trying to configure VoIP line provided by a company called "Broadvox" and I was provided SIP Server DNS as call out destination for my VG application. So, when our application sends an outbound call, it sends out 1xxxxxxxxxx@dl01-04.fs.broadvox.net, but fails to call. I found out in the VG log that the dash used in DNS is removed when VG sent for dialing. The log shows that the outbound number is placed to call losing the dash right after it went to "state Dialing...": dial making call LineState settings: tel[1xxxxxxxxxx@dl01-04.fs.broadvox.net] (It still has the dash upto this point) state Dialing (auto) 1xxxxxxxxxx@dl0104.fs.broadvox.net (Now the destination DNS lost its dash) When I tested it replacing the DNS name with a test IP adress they gave, it worked, but they mentioned they recommend the DNS name for fail-safe environment. Is there any way that I can use the DNS name? Thanks. VG_CallOutForVoIP.zip Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 08/28/2013 11:41 AM This version will not remove the "-" wen making outgoing calls over VoIP : [old link removed] Please note that this release is based on a Beta version of v7.4. To upgrade just stop service and exit all applications, and then install over the top of existing VoiceGuide install. If you encounter any issues please post traces as before.
