Urgent: V6.0.3356/61 Not Stable! Need Version V6.0.3335 Download&#

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

Sorry for the eyecatching subject line, but we urgently require the download of the previous incremental version of VoiceGuide, namely V6.0.3335.

We recently upgraded to the latest version V6.0.3356 (reported as 6.0.3361 in the install) and have found that this crashes within minutes of the server being fired up.

Rather than getting into fault resolution right now, we urgently require the backdated version (full install, including DLLs OCXs etc.) that was known to be stable for the last 6 months and would be grateful if you could make this available for download at your earliest opportunity.

I will then post the debug logs so you can investigate the problems we are having with V6.0.3356/61.

Many thanks,

Tyron

Brilliant, many thanks for this.

See log files attached. The server crashed a couple of times with an application error on VGMulti.exe in these logs. The server has been periodically crashing ever since.

There doesn't seem to be any obvious reason for this - we haven't changed our script file for at least a few weeks now and everything was working fine until we upgraded today. Can't remember the last time we rebooted the server before this!

Could we ask you to test this version: [old link removed]

We have tried to reproduce a crash on our test machines but have as yet not been able to do so. (tests carried out on ISDN system performing inbound and outbound calls with 30+ calls active on the test system at any one time)

In the 6.0.0.3362 release we removed some of the recent changes that are made in areas that can produce a sudden crash (the changes were in a lower level Dialogic driver interface layer). Maybe it's one of those changes that may be responsible for the errors which you are seeing on your system...

Yes, I've had this version running all day now without crashes. It seems stable and there's been a fair bit of traffic through it. I'll update if there's any problems. Many thanks for your prompt help as usual.
