Disconnect Interference After Tromboning

Recommended Posts

- At the end of a tromboning,

if the two sides (user1 and user2) hang-ups at the same time, the Dialogic card D/41EPIC and D/41JCTLS did not reconize the disconnect tone.

(two disconnect tones arriving at same time and as the two analog interfaces are routed together) and the 2 lines are not release.

- And the PABX can't be put on "Loop Current Drop"

- If the card recieve one disconnect tones, it work perfectely

=> How can we release the line

thanks

There are only two ways that an analog based system can detect that a call has ended:

- Listening for a Busy, or

- Checking for loop current drop.

If the two disconnect tones arriving at same time are confusing the busy tone detection and loop current drop is not done on those lines then the only way to ensure that the lines get hung up eventually is to introduce a maximum call time - ie: use a Timout path in the "Call Transfer" module, say: on {timeout 1800} goto <- this will timeout after 30 minutes.

Another way could be if one of the parties presses some pre-determined DTMF tone - and then that can be used to either extend the timeout or to hangup the call...
