It is not recording the calls (I don't want it to) I just need to know what is causing this beep. It was not doing this yesterday and I have made no changes to my script or settings. SupportTeam Report post Posted 01/07/2004 11:03 PM If VG has not answered the call then it could not be playing anything on the line - the phone line needs to be picked up by VG first before VG will be able to play/record anything to/from line. Share this post Link to post
ebjers Report post Posted 01/07/2004 11:32 PM It is answering the call (set to 7 rings). If I unplug the modem there is no beep. But if I plug itback in it beeps whenever I answer a call. Share this post Link to post

Could you please post a copy of VoiceGuide's Debug Printout which captures the problem, this will allow us to see what is happening. (When running the script click on VoiceGuide's View menu and select 'Event Trace Log' option - any log information will then appear in this window. You must open the trace window before making the call.) Share this post Link to post
ebjers Report post Posted 01/08/2004 12:38 AM Here is my debug log. This event trace log has been running for a fiew days now, but the modem has been unpluged most of the time. Also the problem has become speratic now and does not happen all the time. voiceguidelog.txt Share this post Link to post
