Guest Mikael Report post Posted 01/06/2004 09:00 PM I have a new dialer using 4 D/240SC-T1 cards. Its a 2.0GHz, 256DDR Memory SBC with a passive ISA only backplane. The cards are in with a SCBus cable and the switches are set (1-4). DCM finds the cards fine. I went to a friend's office who has Robbed Bit T's to try it, and it cannot grab a line. I just get one red light. Is this a simple config issue or do i need more in depth info on his lines? If i remember correctly he said AMI 4? Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 01/07/2004 11:45 PM A Red light on a Dialogic T1/E1 cards means "loss of frame synchronization on the incoming line from external network"... Looks like you have not correctly configured the protocol layer to work with the signalling provided by the phone company on those lines... Try this: In the DCM on the MISC tab you need to select a param file. Specify in it: spanesf.prm In that PRM file, before starting the service, set the following for T1 B8ZS/ESF: 0014 1 0020 1 for T1 AMI/D4: 0014 0 0020 0 You will probably need local help from a somebody who knows Dialogic cards to get your system up and running...
