istoler Report post Posted 01/13/2004 01:08 AM When using SEND PHONE MESSAGE only the first number is dialed. I am using a voice modem (Sound Blaster) Windows/XP and Pentium4 with 2GB memory. First call is dialed and answered but does not acknowledge the voice prompt. Should this lack of acknowledgement signal the next number to be dialed? This used to work in older version. Running 4.9 currently on a new machine with same modem. VoiceGuideLog0112.txt Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 01/13/2004 05:46 AM Lack of acknowledgement should make VG wait for a while and redial the number. If the number of redials has been exhausted then VG should move on to the next number. There have been some changes to the "Send Phone Message" module and to the various ways in which outbound calls can be queued in VG - so if changing versions you may find that the outbound calling sections require some modifications. If you are upgrading the VG version I'd strongly recommend just jumping to v5.1 (current release) and not v4.9. v5.1 has more features added to it in the Outbound Dialling area. You can download v5.1 from our WWW to test it out. Share this post Link to post
