Integrating Other Communication Channels Beside Email

Hi Team,

I am aeare that VG can integrate with email. Could you please suggest on how to integrate a facebook account so that the text message being sent by phone via my TTS engine can also be send to my facebook (and twitter) contacts?

Hi,

I am no sure why would you suggest to contact sales... Voiceguide seems to provide a the Web Service module, do you not support the Web Service module in this forum? if other communication channels (such as twitter or facebook) provide an http interface, the VG Web Service module should be able to handle the post and gets appropriately, right?

if you would like to send a Twitter update from VoiceGuide then the simplest approach is to use a command line tool and run it from a "Run Program" type module.

 

Here is one such command line tool: http://code.google.com/p/twt/

 

There are similar command line tools for facebook. Eg; http://fbcmd.dtompkins.com/
