LanceR Report post Posted 01/19/2004 01:59 AM Is there a means to set the Message lights on an extension when new voicemail is waiting? I have a Panasonic DBS-824. If there are others with similar Panasonic DBS, any suggested settings to work with that and the Dialogic 4/PCI would be most appreciated. So for, my quest for a decent voicemail/auto-attendant that has some external interfacability has stopped here. Good bang for reasonable $. Lance Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 01/20/2004 07:41 AM If you can supply us with information on how this PBX can accept a command to turn on/off a particular extension’s Message light then I can provide you with instructions on how to make VG turn on the lamp. Turning on the lamp for a particular extension usually just requires dialing a particular code followed by the extension number - the way the codes are dialed differs from one PBX to another - but if you can let us know the codes (or better yet provide us with the complete manual for this PBX) then we can easily have VG set up to turn the lights on/off. SupportTeam Report post Posted 02/18/2004 01:25 AM Message Lamp control is included in v5.1.8 onwards (it was not released as a separate upgrade patch as previously was intended). v5.1.8 is almost out the door (a day or so more...) See: http://voiceguide.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=1144 to download the v5.1.8 Script Designer which shows you how the Mesasge Lamp control is implemented. Share this post Link to post
