Guest Bill Stoneham Report post Posted 01/28/2004 01:28 AM In regards to the Dialogic D4PCI, I need to confirm 2 features and if these features work with the D4PCI card. 1) Can the D4PCI send a hook flash to the line? 2) Can the D4PCI detect line answer by using a 'line reversal' signal from the telephone company? In regards to BRI(ISDN), does the VoiceGuide software support the BRI2/VFD card from dialogic? Thank you for your support! Share this post Link to post

Yes. 2) Can the D4PCI detect line answer by using a 'line reversal' signal from the telephone company? I don't know if that is supported (best to ask Intel/Dialogic). Dialogic cards can detect if call is answered by just listening what is happening on the phone line. They can even (quite reliably) tell if call was answered by a live human or by an answering machine. does the VoiceGuide software support the BRI2/VFD card from dialogic? No. When using BRI (2 line ISDN) lines please look at http://www.voiceguide.com/suppRecomHardware.htm for recommended devices. Share this post Link to post
