Channel Hang Issue

Recommended Posts

Hi Support Team,

I had attached along the screenshot to explain further what had happened to my VoiceGuide system.

post-15128-0-62255900-1388118105_thumb.jpg

Scenario:

From the attached screenshot, Channel ID 1 and 2 status showing "waiting for a call...", but the call direction shows "in" and the call lenght keep increasing non stop until I stop the VG service and restart again. This issue is very frequent here.

How can I prevent this from happening?

We would need to see the VoiceGuide traces (ktTel and VgEngine) to advise what is happening.

Also - looks like you only opened 4 channels of an E1 trunk. Please note that calls that Switch would send to Dialogic on other 26 channels would not be answered.

Hi Support Team,

Sorry for the late attached file. I had posted up the latest log files as requested which has the line hanged. Kindly let me know what's wrong with the channel.

This system is not using the latest version of VoiceGuide (and is not using the latest version of Dialogic drivers.)

Please do update of both Dialogic driver and VoiceGuide:

1. Backup your scripts/sounds and config.xml files.

2. Stop VoiceGuide service.

3. Run UNINST.EXE in VoiceGuide directory (or uninstall from Control Panel)

4. Delete entire C:\Program Files\VoiceGuide directory. There is to be no VoiceGuide files left on hard disk.

5. Uninstall Dialogic drivers (do not save configuration)

6. Restart Computer

7. Downalod and install the Dialogic drivers for VoiceGuide v7 from our WWW Downloads page

8. Restart Computer

9. Run VoiceGuide install.

10. Restore your scripts/sounds and config.xml files.

11. Reapply the VoiceGuide license.

If you still encounter problems then please post traces as before.
