How To Make Outgoing Call

Good day!

 

Please can you kindly give me sample script for how to make outgoing call to IVR.

 

The setting is like after somebody call, then hang up then ivr make outgoing call

to different number? Which module need to use?

The module to call would be the "Send Phone Message" module.

That module will load the outgoing call, and you can specify what script to use when outgoing calls are answered.

 

There are other ways of loading outgoing calls as well.

The "'Out Dial' file approach (or loading calls direct into the OutDial database) offers most flexibility.

Im using VG version6, and when i try to use the "Send Phone Message" the eror coming fromt he log file was "VG dialer not enable".

I try to go to "Telephone number loader". But still i cannot make right script for this issue.

 

Do i need to use "Run VB script"? Sorry for my little knowledge for this.

Sounds like the system may not be licensed to use the Dialer?

You will need to purchase the 'Dialer' license to allow the system to make outgoing calls.

 

Please contact sales@voiceguide.com regarding upgrading your license to a version that has Dialer enabled.

Our Dialer not support the "Send message "module.. in this dialer license we also record the conversation

of the 2 caller?

Once you have the Dialer license the "Send Phone Message" module will work and you will be able to load outgoing calls and those outgoing calls will be made.

 

You will be able to record the 2-line conversation.

 

Note that you need a "JCT" type Dialogic card to make a 'tromboned'/'Dial-and-Conference" call and record the two sides of the call. Do you currently have a JCT card? or a D/4PCI* series card?

 

From registration info it looks like your card is a D/4PCI* series card. So you will need to buy a JCT series card first (D/41JCT or D/120JCT if you use analog lines).

Are you referring to placing an outgoing call from the system?

 

Your system does not have the Dialer license. Your system will only be able to make outgoing calls if it has the Dialer license.

It is possible to use other applicaiton. like skype or gmail to call phone or cellphone, but it is possible to connect

or link to ivr?if possible can you give me some application or ideas how to link into in ivr?

Yes. Dialer license is needed to make outgoing call.

 

You will need to purchase/upgrade to a license that had Dialer option enabled in order to make outgoing calls.

Yes.

 

D/41JCT can send fax on any of the 4 of the lines that can be connected to it

 

The 12 line D/120JCT only can send fax on certain channels. D/120JCT only send fax on 2 or 4 lines at the same time (depending on how old the D/120JCT card is)
