Guest MiloMindBender Report post Posted 02/06/2004 12:46 AM Ok so now I have a server the telephony cards my T-1's. I want customers calling in to via tui (initially) create profiles and personal voicemail boxes. Aside from the data base and Voiceguide what additional software am I going to require. How many here are using this product to drive their voice chat applications. Any recommendations as to what type of data base to run? Does Voice guide play nice if it shares its box with other applications or should I keep it seperated. Lastly, as I am trying to put this together from scratch is anyone aware of any type of "So you want to start a chat line" resources out there? I really appreciate any help any are able to provide, and apologize for the newbie postings Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 02/06/2004 02:56 AM The next step would be to see if your system can answer calls.. What is the protocol running on your T1s ? Preferred protocol is "Robbed Bit Signaling with Wink Start" - it's easiest to set up. You can just use the MS Access database for storing any user/client info or line co-ordination info... it's more then adequate for most chat line applications. Share this post Link to post
