Guest u4910 Report post Posted 04/07/2014 03:59 PM I am trying to figure out how to handle outbound calls that go to an IVR / phone tree. I know this would be tricky, but most of the time you can dial 0 to get to a person or to leave a message. Would there be a way to detect an IVR when doing outbound calling? They don't end with a beep, so they would not be seen as an IVR, but it would not be a live human. Maybe it's a lost cause. We want to leave a message or get to a person, or somehow know that it was an IVR system so that we can get a better direct phone number for future callouts. Thanks for any ideas. SupportTeam Report post Posted 04/07/2014 09:02 PM IVRs would be detected as 'answerig machines'. Please note that if the IVR sound quality is very good then Dialogic card/drivers may think that a live person answered the call. Share this post Link to post
