Problems Upgradint To V 7.4.4 In Xp

Greetings from Argentina.

 

I've followed the instructions to upgrade to the latest version written here http://voiceguide.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=11062

 

So, I installed .Net 4, unninstalled the Dialogic Drivers, re installed them with the ones downloaded from your site, and installed v 7.4.4 on top of the previous version.

 

As a result, the VG Service is not starting. I've read the forum, and checked that Dialogic services are up and running, and the board is "green". In parallel, I installed V 6 and works OK.

I've seen that have been an issue on Win XP, that is apparently solved. Is anything else that I can do in order not to downgrade to v 6?

 

In parallel, is there any way to install a previous version on v 7, that actually works OK?

Was a previous version of VoiceGuide running on this WinXP install, or is this a new WinXP instalation?

 

Can you please .ZIP up and post the trace files that are created in VoiceGuide v7 \log\ subdirectory when you try to start the service?

Attached the logs.

The PC is dedicated to this, running only VG, Dialogic Drivers, .net 4.0 and antivirus, with win XP SP2.

 

After several tries, I uninstalled, cleaned the registry and re installed V 7.3 and worked OK, but that version don't have the report functionality.

 

It's working now, but I'll appreciate any help, as other topics mentions one bug on XP, but they are closed as solved with the latest release.

Sorry, but I forgot to mention that I had VG 7.2 running on this machine, and I followed the upgrade instructions (uninstall Dialogic drivers, reinstall them, install .net 4 and install new version of VG on top of the previous, without performing uninstall). The VG service failed to start after that.

Trace suggests that only WinXP SP2 is installed on this system.

 

.NET 4.0 requires WinXP SP3 as a minimum.

 

Please install the WinXP SP3 update and then re-install .NET 4.0 on this system, and then try running VoiceGuide v7.4.4 again.

Maybe. At the very least try re-installing / repairing .NET 4.0 after SP3 update.
