Guest IVR_Newbie Report post Posted 02/12/2004 04:56 PM I am planning on an IVR system for 48 to 60 lines, and I am wondering how many Dialers do I need in addition to the Enterprise version licenses. My understanding is that the Dialer will enable the scripts to make outgoing calls. Hence, am I right to say that if I can queue up the outbound calls, and do not need to, say, dail out to X parties 'simultaneously', then I do not need to have dialer for each and every Enterprise line I purchase. Have I missed anything? Kindly advise. Thanks. Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 02/12/2004 09:56 PM You cannot 'mix and match' the line counts of Pro/Ent and Dialer licenses. The 'Dialer' license line count must be the same as the Pro or Enterprise line count. The dialer license enables the queuing of outgoing calls during the incoming call as well as performing the dialing out afterwards. If Pro/Ent installation has the dialer license added on afterwards the lower of the two line counts is used to determine how many lines VoiceGuide will control. Share this post Link to post
