v5.1.8 Windows Script Host Problem

Hello.

 

I am having a problem that did not exist in 5.1.7. A caller calls in, gets the voicemail system, and leaves a message. After hanging up, Windows Script host keeps popping up with the following message:

Some additional information:

 

This only occurs when the message indicator lamp option is being used. WHen I choose "Turn message lamp on when: Do not turn message lamp on" the problem goes away. What do you think?

Can you please post here the file which is mentioned in the error message. Please do not make any other calls on the same phone line between getting the error message and posting the file - otherwise the file may get overwritten with different contents...

 

(in last error message file was: C:\Program Files\Voiceguide\data\vbs_5_3.vbs)

Please also place attached file in VoiceGuide's \system\vm\ subdirectory.

 

Turns out this file was not included in the v5.1.8 distribution (it should have been). the v5.1.8 distribution has now been updated to include this file.

 

The attached file allows you to optionally call your own VBScript when the message lamp is turned ON/OFF. Useful for some advanced CTI integration work...

Attached is the file you requested. I've noticed that an error message specifying a different vbs script willl be produced sometimes as well. For example, vbs_5_4.vbs.

When I add the vm_events.vbs file into the vm directory, the problem is fixed, and everything works perfectly. I suggest you include that in future distributions. Thanks!
