SupportTeam Report post Posted 12/26/2014 09:44 PM Have you confirmed that the Dialogic HMP service was fully started before running IPMediaServer.exe ? problem like you describe also often happens when other VoIP software on the system is already using SIP port 5060 Would recommend reformatting the system and installing just Windows and Dialogic HMP and then running the IPMediaServer test application again. Guest Joe_supra Report post Posted 12/31/2014 07:09 PM Hello, i have successfully installed the HMP driver after formatting the PC When i user Linphone to place a call, i got "Call failed" on linphone I can't see any SIP packets arriving on Wireshark..(attached Linphone screenshot) Thanks ! Guest Joe_supra Report post Posted 12/31/2014 07:26 PM additionnal information: I have restarted the pc and the i got another behavior of Linphone (please see screenshot-2) It looks the port 5060 is already used. When i check the processes i see that 5060 is taken by IpMediaServer.. so i'm a bit lost.. Thanks you Joe Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 12/31/2014 11:24 PM The calls into the Dialogic HMP system need to be made from different machine. Linphone or any other VoIP software should not be installed on the machine running Dialogic HMP. Share this post Link to post
Guest Joe_supra Report post Posted 01/01/2015 03:28 PM works! thanks Maybe this should added on the helponine file Happy new year to all Joe Share this post Link to post
Guest Joe_supra Report post Posted 02/12/2015 10:24 PM Hello, Trying slowly making it work and im facing some issues. As im not familiar with Voip registration.. i'd ask some help to see what is wring is the logs i have attached. Im using a public Sip provider but the outgoing calls seam not to go. i event dont know if im connected to the SIP provider or not.. Thanks for your help Joe log.zip Config.zip Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 02/12/2015 10:41 PM It looks like the system is not registering with your VoIP provider. Please use WireShark to capture packets sent when the VoiceGuide service starts up. This will let you see the outgoing REGISTER messages and the replies. Once registration is working try to place a call into the system. Again capture packets with WireShark. Then once incoming calls are working then try to make outgoing call. (and capture packets with WireShark.) You can use the name of SIP service (skype.ippi.fr or sip.ippi.fr ?) instead of explicitly stating the IP address. Share this post Link to post
Guest Joe_supra Report post Posted 02/12/2015 11:14 PM I cant find the REGISTER msg withing wireshark;. maybe im not using wireshark properly. Did i formatted correclly the registration information in the Config.xml? from SIp provider i got DOMAIN IP: 109.237.253.173USER: 0003*009PASS: -----CODEC: G711a G711u Tkx Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 02/12/2015 11:51 PM If you are capturing the incoming SIP calls made from Linphone on another PC then that same Wireshark setup should capture the REGISTER message. Try typing this into the "Filter" text box sip You should then just see the SIP related traffic. You may want to double check that the username that the SIP provider gave you really contains the * character. Suggest you ask them to give you a fully numeric username (or alphanumeric) and see if that makes a difference. Share this post Link to post
Guest Joe_supra Report post Posted 02/13/2015 12:04 AM ok im asking them. Actually i was expecting the REGISTER not when the call is made but when VG is started.. Im I wring ?* Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 02/13/2015 12:09 AM Yes. The REGISTER message would be sent out when the VoiceGuide service is being started. Share this post Link to post
Guest Joe_supra Report post Posted 02/13/2015 12:41 AM i have tested the sip crendential with a basic sip phone and i could connect and place a call. so i guess the problem is coming from somewhere else than the connection info. maybe how i have filled the config.xml file ? Tkx Joe Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 02/13/2015 04:13 AM The data from Config.xml shows information is read in properly, and passed on to Dialogic HMP: 121 135140.525 5756 fn VoIPProvider_Register(protocol=SIP, reg_server=109.237.253.173, reg_client=0003*009@109.237.253.173, local_alias=, sH323SupportedPrefixes=) 126 135843.451 2336 fn VoIPProvider_Register(protocol=SIP, reg_server=109.237.253.173, reg_client=0003*009, local_alias=, sH323SupportedPrefixes=) If you are not seeing Dialogic HMP issue the REGISTER SIP message then maybe there is some problem with Dialogic HMP that prevents it from doing this. You may need to look at Dialogic HMP logs (the RTF logs) to see if anything was logged. But first please try using a userid without a * in it. Doesn't matter if it is an invalid userid, just try it to see if HMP issues a REGISTER SIP message when * is not part of the userid. Share this post Link to post
