Dial A Destination

Hello,

Im using Intel's Dialogic card (D/4 PCI board).Everything is fine except Transferring a call and dialing to a destination from the card.It will hang up the caller and then dial the other external line.It shows the status as "connected" and is also found to play the wave file. But no ring tone is heard from the phone.We tried using the program supplied by Intel itself - Tapidemo and Talker32. Im using Windows2000.

Is there anything we would need the telephone dept itself to do for us?

 

I hear by place a small despcription of the product as an attachment.

Are you using VoiceGuide or some other application?

 

If using VoiceGuide then please post the VoiceGuide script that you are using along with a short description of what it is that you are trying to do.

 

Also could you please post a copy of VoiceGuide's Debug Printout which captures the problem, this will allow us to see what is going wrong.

(When running the script click on VoiceGuide's View menu and select 'Event Trace Log' option - any log information will then appear in this window. You must open the trace window before making the call.)

We are using Dialogic card for telephone banking application(Intel - D/4PCI, OS- Windows2000). We are neither able to transfer a call nor dial to a destination using the dialogic card.

 

During the time of transfer the original caller hears dialing of the destination number,then the line goes off.Can you just give small hint to "hookflash" of PBX.

The Public Telephone network that we use is BSNL - Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd.

 

We also have a problem with the CallerID application.Kindly suggest.
