Guest Lance_R Report post Posted 03/01/2004 06:07 PM You might want to check the what's new page. It only has 5.1.8 Also, does this installer handle upgrading properly? If not, what are the proper steps to insure that you do not loose previous configuration when installing the 5.2 Lance Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 03/01/2004 09:26 PM Just checked and the history.txt file did show the v5.2.0 info as well: v5.2.0 - Time Switch module added. - Logging control rationalized - all logging control now in [Log] section of Vg.INI file. - Registration keys can now be linked to Dialogic card, not just the network card. Only one installation of VG can be on the system at a time. Before installing a new version the previous version needs to be uninstalled. When uninstalling the entire VG directory gets deleted - so all config data is deleted as well. What are the proper steps to insure that you do not loose previous configuration when installing the 5.2 To save the voicemailbox list you will need to backup the VmBoxList.xml file from VG's \data\ subdirectory. You may also want to backup VG.INI file as it holds all data relating to PBX configuration, Email server configuration etc. Share this post Link to post
