Dialogic D/4pci Direct Call Transfer W/o Pbx

Can Katalina support switching calls on a Dialogic D/4PCI between ports?

For example, if on port 1 I receive a call and process it with Katalina, then want to transfer to an operator who has a phone attached to port 4 - can I make that transfer. (I don't have a PBX.) Since I have one line, it would have to keep line 1 open and make a connection to port 4, ring port 4, then allow voice data.

Any ideas?

All ports on the D/4 go to the telephone company central office; so you can not "transfer to an operator who has a phone attached to port 4".

 

My understanding is that you need to make sure your 1 line supports 3-way calling so that VG can do a FlashHook and initiate a call transfer.
