SupportTeam Report post Posted 03/27/2017 10:14 AM ACD functionality is the same regardless of whether the underlying telephony is done over VoIP (which uses use of HMP) or over ISDN trunks. Call Transfers (bridging of calls) and recording of connected calls works the same way from the script point of view. There are a number of VoIP based deployments that use HMP functionality. If creating a system with geographically distributed agents we would recommend setting up a pilot VoIP system first. This will let you confirm operation and performance on VoIP trunks/networks in your geographic area, which we understand is in a southern Africa country. Share this post Link to post
