Test Run Vg Without Telp Line

Question :

 

1. Is it posible to run/test/simulate script without phone line?

 

2. When I use direct line to test VG, it's run normaly but when I used ext line, seem like VG doesnot respon all the key phone pressed.

 

I'm using VG 5.1.7 + Dialogic D4PCI + PBX Siemens Hicom 3000

No. You must call into the system.

Maybe the phone hanset you are using on the call from external line does not generate DTMF tones well? Are you maybe using a mobile phone and you have a poor quality connection?

 

VG does not know whether the calls comes in from external line or an internal extension - VG will just answer the call and do what it normally does, if you are seeing different results when calling from a particular handset then there must be a problem with the line/handset that you are using...
