Guest Mike Report post Posted 03/14/2004 09:32 AM In my setup I want to be able to transfer a call, IE PBX Blind. The sequence needed is FLASH *08,#######, ( Ie flash, star 0 8 PAUSE #NUMBER# Pause ) But Its not really a PBX that I am using, once VG hangs up the line that is when the call is actually transfered. But this becomes an issue if the transfered to line is busy. there is no way for VG to retrieve the call, since the telephone system I use is not controlled by me. There is no sequence of * commands that can retrieve it. Basically what I am asking is, Can VG detect if the line is busy, or if there is dialing tones before it hangs up? So if the line is busy, it puts it back into the script to do whatever else I want. Thanks Share this post Link to post
Guest Mike Report post Posted 03/14/2004 09:45 AM Note: Announced transfer does not work, as the transfer to number is a voice mailbox, and cannot be setup to "accept" the transffered call. I have tried to record the tone of the 1 button within the voicemail greeting, but the system that runs the voicemail thinks that I am pressing it, and stops recording. Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 03/14/2004 10:57 PM Can you please try changing in VG.INI file the TransferControl_TelBoards settings to be: TransferControl_TelBoards=TAPI You may need to to play around with the other settings in the Dialogic TSP configuration now to make the dialing work properly (mainly setting dialing digit lengths and interdigit pause lengths), and you will also need to correctly set in the TSP the busy tone parameters (frequency & cadence) which the card should listen for.
