SupportTeam Report post Posted 09/04/2018 09:16 PM VoiceGuide does not have any controls to adjusting the loudness of the played file. Any adjustments to how loud is the used sound file should be done beforehand. Viewing sound file in a sound file editor will show the amplitude. Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 09/05/2018 12:02 AM VoiceGuide does not include a sound editor. There are many sound editors out there. Audacity is a popular one: https://www.audacityteam.org/ To save a recording as a ULaw endcoded WAV file using Audacity : Open Audacity. Find and open the sound file. If the file is stereo, click above Mute/Solo and choose Tracks > Stereo Track to Mono. Set Project Rate (bottom left) to 8000 Hz. Go to File > Export Audio… Choose “Other uncompressed files.” Choose “WAV (Microsoft)” header. Choose “U-Law” Encoding (this sets 8-bit, and 8 kHz). Edit the file name and be sure it ends in “.wav”.
