gaebler Report post Posted 03/23/2004 08:08 PM I bought a Dialogic D/41ESC Card and performed all the steps that are listed at: http://www.voiceguide.com/vghelp/html/Inst...allDialogic.htm Unfortunatly the last step fails, when I try to call into the card with TALKER32, nothing happens. The call is not taken. Are there any recommendations, what else should I check? I am located in Germany and I selected Germany in the DCM. I tried to configure the card with the de_41e.prm file, which as well did not work. The card passes all Universal Dialogic Diagnostics Utility Tests. The card is connected to an ISDN PBX, which serves my analog telephones (they work great). I simply unplugged the RJ11 cable from one of my connected and working analog phones and plugged it into one of the cards RJ11 jacks. The phone works great, but the card does not. Is there any pitfall with ringing detection or differences in the phone cables, when using the card in Germany? Thanxx in advance. Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 03/24/2004 12:31 AM Does the card answer calls when using other sample Dialogic programs? Please try using "Voice Horoscope". Share this post Link to post
gaebler Report post Posted 03/24/2004 03:59 PM Hi guys, the card works now, the funny thing is, if I use a modem cable, which does not work with my analog phones, the card works fine. So I assume, that there are differences with the wiring of the RJ11 jacks. Thanxx Denis. Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 03/24/2004 10:54 PM The Dialogic analog cards are wired to expect the two telephone wires to be attached to the two middle connectors of the RJ11 plug. This should be described in the installation pamphlet which comes with the cards. Share this post Link to post
