I've been trying out Voice Guide for the last few days, looks good but the problem is when I get information from a customer (numbers) it requires the # sign afterwards, this causes the comswitch to transfer the call to another phone. ex fax machine. The setup I have now is an external PBX system with IVR for mailboxes. I have the PBX plugged into the voice plug. I have a fax machine in the fax plug and my computer (voiceguide) in the Modem/extra port. everything works fine till #22 or #11 is pressed. is there anyway to have voiceguide use the * instead of the #, this would fix all my problems. SupportTeam Report post Posted 03/27/2004 06:48 AM VoiceGuide can use * or # to indicate end of data entry in a Get Numbers module. You just have make sure you don't define a "On {*} ..." path and when the * is pressed it will have the same effect as if the # were pressed... Share this post Link to post
