Framing = CRC-4

Coding Method = HDB3

Signalling = ISUP

 

Signalling Configuration:

Network Indicator = 3 (NA1)

Will this line be running ISDN or CAS/Robbed bit ?

If ISDN then which protocol will it be using?

It will not use ISDN nor CAS. the line will be running on SS7 protocol (ITU-T White book standard).

VoiceGuide does not support SS7 signaling.

Apparently only small changes are required to "VoiceGuide for ISDN" to allow it to work on Dialogic's new SS7 cards, eg:

 

SS7HDP - D4TE

 

which has:

• 4 Software selectable T-1 or E-1 interfaces

• Supports up to 64 SS7 links

• Messaging throughput in excess of 20,000 (MSU) per second over up to64 links
