Maximum Size Of Text File Used By Tts

We are using the ATT Natural Voices Engine in conjuction with Voiceguide.

 

Voiceguide reads text files perfectly. The problem is, that if the text file or variable has too many characters it is cut off.

 

Is there a maximum of characters that tts can handle. If so is there a way around it?

Looks like the limit is 1000 characters - you must be doing some fairly long TTS if you are exceeding this - but there is no reason for there to be a limit at all - we should be able to issue an update for you within a couple of days which will not have such a limit.

Please place attached OCX in Windows' System32 directory, overwriting existing file, then restart VG.

 

You will now be able to do unlimited length TTS with VoiceGuide.
