Guest Ron Derk Report post Posted 03/22/2003 02:37 AM This question was asked and answered before but I don't understand. I want to start voiceguide on system startup. I need to put a pause on the system to allow the dialogic drivers to load. Using win 2000 pro I made a batch file using the sleep.exe prgram like this sleep 40.(this works) On the next line I put c:\etc.\vgmulti.exe. But it won't run from the batch. Next I tried Putting the sleep batch file in the startup dir. then adding vgmulti.exe(shortcut) to the directory. This dosen't work eather. The sleep command pauses the dos window but vgmulti continues to load before dos window closes. So how do I pause vgmulti till drivers load? Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 03/23/2003 12:50 AM The batch file approach should work... we have used it and other users have reported that's how they start VG on startup as well.. What happens when you try to run the batch file? Have you specified the correct path to vgmulti.exe ? Share this post Link to post
