Transfer Fails

Sirs.

 

I've just purchased an entreprise + dialer 4 licenses pack.

First: dialout was not working on version 5.2.1. I found some patch in your forum that solved that first problem.

Second: (second day second problem) Transfer is not working.

Attached you will find a zip file with the vbs script, VG script and the VG log file.

 

I failed to transfer an outbound call to ather extension.

Also failed to park it.

I can perfectly do it manually.

 

Can you help me?

From trace we can see that the Dialogic card decided that the outbound call was answered by an answering machine, not a human.

 

Currently there is a limitation in the system which prevents you from doing call transfers if an answering machine has answered the call - and for most users that is OK as all that is usually required when an answering machine answers the call is to leave a message after the beep and just hang up.

 

This will be addressed in a version of VG which will come out in about 2-3 months - you will be able to do transfers on answering machine calls in that version. If you are having problems with the Dialogic card falsely detecting humans as an answering machine you may want to read:
