Send Phone Message

Hi,

 

Help please,

I would like to have a message delivered after my script is done.

I can't seem to make "Send Phone Message" working.

What am I doing wrong here.

Are you running an evaluation or a registered version of VG?

 

Have you downloaded the bugfix from http://www.voiceguide.com/vgDownload.htm ?

 

Are the lines enabled for outbound dialing? (see View->Line Device Config menu)

 

If running a registered version then have you purchased VG Dialer?

I downloaded bugfix and now "Send Phone Message" makes call

but it does not play message.

You are specifying the "Fun.wav" to be played as a "Welcome" message.

 

You should be using the "Script/Wav" field to specify what the recipient of the call should hear.

 

The Welcome message is only used when a Voice modem is used for an outbound call - it is the announcement used to prompt recipient of call to accept a call. This field is not used when Dialogic card is used - as Dialogic can detect when call is answered.

Ok, I left field "Welcome" empty and in field "Script/Wav" I used

my simple script - play message Soccer.wav

 

My problem is:

1)

After hang up

Why does it take that long to go to CallFinishScript.vgs?

 

2)

Why does it take that long to start playing Soccer.wav?

After hang up Why does it take that long to go to CallFinishScript.vgs?

We do not see CallFinishScript.vgs called at all. Is itr set up to be the "Run on Hangup" script for Echo.vgs?

 

Why does it take that long to start playing Soccer.wav?

Did the person answering the call say "Hello" or something else which would allow Dialogic card to detect that somebody is on the other end of the line?

We do not see CallFinishScript.vgs called at all.

 

It is there. Try ctrl+f and you will find it.

 

 

Is it set up to be the "Run on Hangup" script for Echo.vgs?

What do you mean by that?

Do you mean "Script to run when call is finished"?
