Guest phew Report post Posted 05/16/2004 08:00 PM I palyed around today trying to get an .INF file working properly on my 3049C, but no joy Has anyone here got an Inf file that works with VG for this modem? SupportTeam Report post Posted 05/16/2004 10:27 PM If this modem uses a Rockwell chipset then you could try installing it as a Rockwell voice modem - see the options available to you under the Rockwell set of drivers in Windows. phew Report post Posted 05/17/2004 10:21 PM So I guess this modem does not always work with VG then? I came accross another comms/phone software that does the recording, but not all that VG seems capable of. It claims TAPI compliance..and works with my XP/UK install...Van anyone help? SupportTeam Report post Posted 05/18/2004 03:13 AM It all depends on the drivers - if you install the right drivers for the modem then it should work... You may also want to see v2.9.1 of VG. Version 2.9.1 of VoiceGuide communicates directly with the modem without the use of Wave drivers - which may be desirable by some users. (Many other voice programs still communicate with the modem directly rather then use Wave drivers).
