SupportTeam Report post Posted 05/21/2004 07:50 AM Your telephone company must support this feature before you can use it. If the phone company’s switch does not support conferencing then you will need to use a Dialogic D/41JCT card and place a call on another line on the card and connect the two calls on the card (Dial and Conference feature). SupportTeam Report post Posted 05/21/2004 09:26 AM What is the actual problem you are seeing? Please describe step by step what is happening on the system. Are you trying 'blind conference' or 'announced conference' ? Share this post Link to post
Guest vknadagouda Report post Posted 05/21/2004 09:41 AM well, i am trying 'blind conferenceing'. The scenrio is like this I have incoming call to my dialogic d/4pci board, subsequently i have script running which says 'connecting to another number', it immediately puts the incoming line on hold', dials the other number and does not set the second number in conference. i tried after changing to "!,3' instead of '!3' as suggest in the forum. Then later on i tried to put commas before !, say about 10 nos, so the string looked as ,,,,,,,,,,,,!,3. it worked in this case ie conferencing was possible. what i need is to detect when the second call is answered and make the conference then. hope the pbroblem is clear Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 05/21/2004 09:54 AM Sounds like your telephone company will only allow to complete the call conference after the 3rd party has answered the call. You will need to use 'announced conference' option. Share this post Link to post
