CSI Report post Posted 05/28/2004 04:32 PM I'm currently running Enterprise+dialer with a D/4PCI and a D/120JCT-LS, for a total of 16 ports. These ports are running from analog extensions on our PBX. In the near future, I will likely have IVR projects with significant volume demands so I would like to route those calls to a dedicated T1 (or several T1s for that fact). I am loking at purchasing a D/480 card for that purpose. 1. Is it possible to run a T1 directly to the system as well as maintain the existing analog cards? 2. If so, it is also possible to bridge calls from the T1 to the PBX (operators) via the analog cards? Thanks again for your help. Larry Share this post Link to post

Will T1 lines be configured as 'Robbed Bit' signaling or will they be using ISDN signaling? (Robbed Bit is much easier to set up) 1. CSI Report post Posted 06/01/2004 02:29 PM Our T1 service uses robbed bit. From a VG setup perspective is this as simple as adding license and card? We will need to be able to capture DNIS and caller ID from the T1, which I assume shouldn't be a problem. We're currently doing this with our PBX. About the bridging, is this using the bridging feature within the software or a custom vb script? Share this post Link to post

About the bridging, is this using the bridging feature within the software or a custom vb script? Either. Using "Dial and Conference" option from within a Call Transfer module is easiest.
