Guest saus Report post Posted 04/01/2003 08:22 PM Hi, I've been reading the forum on this apparently excellent full featured software, but I was hoping to get some clarification from actual experienced users on a question. I'd like to setup an automated order taker using credit cards, my concern is regarding inputted long address information for shipping orders collected via the call inputting CC card info. It strikes me as difficult for an inbound caller to input that via the keypad, can the address information on a credit card info collection call be recorded to a voice message, while the cc card info goes to the database, or pehaps also a voice message? I think i've even confused myself, sorry about that lol. Share this post Link to post

SupportTeam Report post Posted 04/02/2003 02:16 PM The usual solution for address input is to ask the caller to say their address and record their voice to a sound file. You can just ask caller to say their full address, or ask them for address items (street, town, zip etc) one at a time... (most such apps just ask for full address in one go) Then email that sound file along with CC number and any other information to the person fulfilling the order. Or save the details, including the recorded filename to a database... There are many ways of doing all this - it depends on what you prefer... Share this post Link to post
