Guest Pablo Report post Posted 06/01/2004 05:16 PM Hi All!! Is it possible to use a D4/PCI Dialogic card as a PBX? We have no PBX and for the moment we want to have 3 external lines controlled by an IVR and leave the 4th channel of the card to be attended by an operator if needed. Dowsa Voiceguide support this? Thanks a lot! Pablo Gutierrez Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 06/01/2004 10:18 PM D/4PCI cannot have phone handsets attached to it - so you cannot use it as a PBX. Share this post Link to post
Guest Pablo Report post Posted 06/02/2004 11:07 AM pablo.gutierrez@ono.com Ok for that! I am going to remake my question (I didn´t make it properly): No handsets will be attached directly to the card, I will have an incoming line for receiving the calls and another line for making them. No PBX in here. Can, then, the D4/PCI act as a PBX? A silly example would be to have an incoming call from line 1 transfered to another number through line 2 using the D4/PCI. Have I explained it better? Is is enough with this card and voiceguide? Thanks! Pablo Gutierrez Barbadillo Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 06/02/2004 12:09 PM Sounds like you are trying to do a "Dial and conference". For a list of cards which can be used to implement this please see: http://www.voiceguide.com/vghelp/html/modXfer.htm Share this post Link to post
