AbsoluteControls Report post Posted 06/09/2004 06:55 PM I just moved over from a voice modem to dialogic d/4pci. Yesterday, things seemed to be working OK. I converted my wave files to 11/8/mono and it was working. Today, VG will not play the wav file. Instead it just hangs up without playing anything at all. The log file seems to say that the file encountered was not 11/8/mono, but my wav file (MainIntro.wav) is the right format. (The voice guide "voice cue" error file is probably not the right format, since I never switched that from the original voice modem installation.) I happened to install a new serial external modem on my computer today. Is it possible that this caused the problem, and if so, how can I fix it? SupportTeam Report post Posted 06/09/2004 11:32 PM Something seems to be wrong with the wave drivers on this machine. Can you please try removing all the wave drives on your system (including any sound card drivers) and then re-installing the wave drivers for your telephony device first. Try calling in after doing this, and if the sound can be heard over the phone you can then try to re-install your sound card drivers. To remove other wave drivers got to Control Panel, double clock on System, select the Device Manager tab and go to Sound/Video/Game Controllers entry - then delete all other wave drivers. You may have to disable the sound card altogether as well to stop Windows from automatically loading it's drivers - to do this just select "Disable" and then select "Uninstall" from the Device Manager. Which version of VoiceGuide are you using? Share this post Link to post
