Guest Aaron Report post Posted 06/10/2004 06:36 PM User calls in to dialogic... Dialogic picks up the phone and then verifies that the user is verfied, by checking a pin.. once verified the user can now input in a number (#A) dtmf followed by "#".. the dialogic now hangs up the line, and dials the (#A) back... Once the user at (#A) picks up and dialogic hears a person it will beep.. The user proceeds to dial DTMF (# followed by "#" number, which is now conferenced into the line by Flash DIAL flash with no delay cause the lines here dont require the third party to pick up to connect.. Once the conversation ends the user(s) hangs up and the dialogic clears the line OR The user dials #3# to hang up on the third party, and then the dialogic will beep again and want for another DTMF number to dial and connect again.. I am a NY resident, and in my home I have free calls to anywhere in USA... I have a cellular phone with unlimited roaming, and unlimited incomming calls.. By having this function established.. I will have free unlimited calling from my mobile phone.. Which is very convienent... I am curious as to which card model is a better model.. There is a $20 difference between D/41D and D/41H, both are ISA, only difference I see is the number of jacks even though they both are 4 lines.. And the H model I believe can have better quality audio.. Please advise... Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 06/11/2004 07:21 AM You are basically setting up a call-back service. This is fine and has been done before with VoiceGuide. I am curious as to which card model is a better model.. I'd recommend using D/41H over the D/41D. D/41H is a newer card and if there is any difference in audio quality then D/41H should be better. D/41H is also straightforward to set up whereas D/41D is pretty hard to set up properly. Share this post Link to post
Guest Guest Report post Posted 06/13/2004 05:26 AM Is there any example of a callback script available? What differences are there when installing D/41D over D/41H? I thought I just throw the D/41D card into the ISA and install the drivers, then VoiceGuide takes over... Please advise as the differences in the cards as far as installation.. And also a callback example if you have one.. -Aaron Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 06/13/2004 05:47 AM With D/41D the sound files in VoiceGuide's /System/Voice directory will need to be updated to this format: uLAW, 8kHz, 8bit, Mono. Please see http://www.voiceguide.com/suppRecomHardware.htm Otherwise installation is the same. Please see: http://www.voiceguide.com/vghelp/html/Inst...allDialogic.htm No demo callback scripts are available. Share this post Link to post
