Early Cut Off Of Recordings

I left a message that our IVG system was cutting off callers before they have completed their message. I thought it was random, but I now know that it cuts off the very end of each message - no matter what the length. It seems as though the system receives a message that the caller has disconnected and shuts down the recording before it has had a chance to finish the recording. I do have a copy of the script if that helps.

You can change how much of the end of the message VoiceGuide will cut off by changing the entries in VG.INI file. See the RecCutIfHangupBytes entry.

 

IVG is quite an old version now (the old version was sold under license by another company). I'd probably recommend upgrading to v5.2 as well...
