Tapi Pbx Retrieve Call String

Recommended Posts

I am trying to get voiceguide to un-transfer a call if there is no answer or busy. In the PBX Strings section of the VG options, I see where the string goes, but because I am using PBX integration boards, I need to use the "Generate/TAPI" setting. My question is, which TAPI PBX String value is the equivalent to the "Retreive call from announced conference call..." var in the VG settings?

Swap Hold? Drop Connect?

Thanks,

Chris

I'd recommend just using

TransferControl_TelBoards=Generate

and specifying the hookflash (or whatever else is needed) in the VG's config.

Can you tell me what value is called when the VG config isn't used? I'm sure VG reverts to making a TAPI call to perform this, right?

If I have to use the VG config, does it support escape keys? I'm using VG with a Dialogic PBX Integration card, and the commands I send via TAPI mimic the Mitel 430 digital phones attached to the pbx. For example, instead of a 'hook-flash' to transfer, I use '$Kd' to mimic a key press from the phone's function buttons. Will VG correctly interpret the commands?

If the VG config won't work, does anyone have any idea which TAPI value is synonomous with the "Retreive call from announced conference call..." value in the VG config?

Thanks again,

Chris

Are you using the D/82JCT-U PBX integration card?

In this case you should stick to using the TransferControl_TelBoards=TAPI setting and specifying all these strings in the PBX Strings section of the TSP config. Unfortunately we do not have enough experience with using the Mitel PBX to know which command will work - I would be trying to Hold and Swap Hold strings first...
